As a society, we've glamorized the life of entrepreneurs. They have replaced rock stars and athletes as the shining stars of our generation, but getting new ideas from their embryonic state to the functioning world is never an easy path. The ground is shifting beneath our feet constantly and society is changing the ways that we effectively fundraise, build relationships, and define community. Many people think that the process isn't for them or that they lack what it takes to do this work. Take an intimate look at how this process looks in the real world; the failures that no one talks about, the hardships, and the tragic mess-ups that are all part of the process. These lessons illuminate how organizations can embody this entrepreneurial spirit to create a dynamic, engaging, and supportive culture that drives the association and the industry it represents forward.
